Any mechanic will tell you selecting the right tool for the job is half the battle. The same holds true when selecting the right company for your network cabling. You want data cabling specialists... and we've got them! Jason Wilke and his assistant Jake Edmondson KNOW data networks.
Does your data network need help? Contact your ETC ComputerLand network consultant or give Jason a call at 217-228-6180.
Call early, don't wait until your new equipment is unboxed and sitting on your floor before you schedule cabling service!
Printers need maintenance just like any other piece of expensive electronic equipment with moving parts. Read your manual, keep a maintenance schedule, and know the life cycle of your printer. By doing so, you'll get better performance at a lower cost.
It’s simple, it’s easy, and it solves many problems. The next time your PC acts up, re-boot it. A simple re-boot will often bring the PC back to its “senses” in a hurry!

Using fonts effectively is one key to a successful website. There are a few things to remember in order to use them effectively. Here are a few guidelines to get you started:
Keep it legible!
Bold - Use it for titles and points of emphasis. Don't do entire paragraphs in them. A little goes a long way.
Italics - Again is used for emphasis on words throughout the body, or for a title. It's not the easiest to read.
Colors - Having too many colors on one page is distracting and they end up fighting with each other instead of playing nicely. Use colors that compliment your site and that are dark enough to read.
Size - Size matters. Titles should be the largest, obviously, but nobody wants to be shouted at. Each font will differ in size as well, so keep that in mind in your paragraph text.
Fonts - It's good to keep things consistent throughout your site. Two fonts is a good rule of thumb. Any more than that and things get hairy scary.
ALL CAPS AND NO LOWER CASE MAKES JOHNNY A DULL BOY. It's too hard to read when you have paragraphs full of all caps. Good for titles, bad for paragraphs.
