Daylight Savings Changes

Starting the second Sunday of March Americans will move there clocks up an hour three weeks earlier than they are used to due to the Energy Policy Act of 2005. The new time change could cause issues for computer users with applications that are time-reliant.

There are several items to consider to prepare your machines for the change. Most importantly, your computer needs to have all the appropriate Windows patches installed. Secondly, determine what applications on your system rely on for time settings. Some applications may need patches installed that are specifically related to the software company. If they are be sure to visit the Software Companies website to get the latest patches.
